a strange world, Toto...

Some weird stuff is weird. I was checking my email and I saw these headlines:

"Karaoke singer bites ear off"

and

"3 year old marries 7 year old"

I am putting the links in here. Anyone else thinks these are sick?

Put a call into the doctor and now I'm all better...

So, I am better than I was a few weeks ago. I was going through a stressful time, but now, I am going on an easier streak. I find life a little more enijoyable.

I can't wait until we have practices with everyone. Next week people!

Something just crawled Up inside of Me and Died!

man, I feel like death walking on earth. The past two weeks I had a sore throat, this week I have sinus clogness, and now after eating three pieces of pizza my stomach wants to rid of some things.

Besides all that, my life seems to be in a downward spiral. I flunked my EMT test Sunday and some things in my life just keep grabbing me by the horns. I could definitely use some prayer.
Everything seems to be wrong, and I don't know how to stop it.

Like a comet pulled from orbit
as it passes the sun,
Like a stream that meets a boulder
halfway through the wood,
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
Because I knew you I have been changed for good.

- Wicked "For Good"

To all those who have helped me in life.

Thank God for Holidays!

I am going to church tomorrow! Thank God for holidays!

Anyway, so I have a couple of more songs on my other site. If you don't know what I am talking about, click in my link section the one that says "The ramblings of the clown and center stage". I am just too lazy to put a link up right now.

Last night I went to go see Nick and Libby perform at their drama camp in Allentown. It was a great time to get out for awhile and relax watching my friends work ;0). They did several different dramas. Nick played Huck Finn, Mr. Boddy from CLUE, and a king for another drama, while Libby did Ms. Scarlet, Mercy from Pilgrim's Progress, and one of Nick's twelve daughters (He had more kids than we did, Laura). I think my favorite costume was Nick's King outfit. Seriously, if you saw my emperor outfit for THE EMPEROR"S NEW CLOTHES, you have a basic idea of what it was. So gaudy, so ugly.

A warning: if you don't want your hair cut, don't walk into a barbershop. My brother wanted to get his hair cut yesterday after work, so mom took him over and she also made me get a trim. It's short! NO!!! But it's okay I guess. I'll have to live with it, unless I get a wig or a toupe.

daffynition: Theater - what you respond with when asked, "what happened to Glenda? (If you don't read the King James, you might not get it.)

Someone is listening to "The Four Seasons" somewhere...

Ah, "Shari, Shari baby"

Nevermind, you new-music listeners! That is what you call a classic (even if it is annoying).

Anywho, so I went swimming two days in a row this weekend. I haven't gone swimming all summer and then two parties involving pools came up, so I went swimming. I know, exciting. What is more exciting is that my brother broke the belly-flop king's reign by doing 7 flops in a row (I was the king by doing no more than 5 in a row. They do start to hurt after awhile). Other than that, it was a bunch of people swimming. The first party was my church's worship team picnic, and the second party was my youth group's last event for the summer. Oh, I pushed our church's main soundman fulling clothed into a pool. His son is in my youth group, so he was there for the one party. All day he looked a little to comfortable around the water, so when he threw my brother into the pool, I went behind him and pushed him in. It was no easy task. This guy could easily play a pro football lineman. So, in he went and everyone was laughing so bad. I better lie low for awhile. Word has it he has it in for me...

Work was sooooooo slow today. All the kid's have gone back to school, so basicly nobody came in. I maybe cleaned my dining room twice that whole day (normalling you have to clean it like 6 times.). That is slow. I was happy , but bored at the same time. It was weird.

Laura is in NYC right for college. GO LAURA! Break your head open on those books! Go insane!
Ramen!
Last Hurrah!!

the childhood

Well, I really am an interesting character: I put myself in pain. (Not always on purpose) Yesterday while I was at I had to hand out some food to someone. The person who was handing it to me to give out was not paying attention and I ended up dropping it. Well, instead of letting it drop, I tried to catch it and I ended up on my knees on the floor, due to the clumsy-ness of me. Then just afew minutes ago, I ran my shoulder into a wall. Some of you are thinking "what's up with this dork?". Well I'll tell you. I think it was all due to the fact that I cracked my head open on a radiator when I was young. I was like, 2, and I was jumping off the couch onto pillows, had a pillow slip out from under me, and what do you know, there's blood! I, like all other infants, didn't realize it and I just kept on playing and laughing.
What is wrong with me? I blame my supernatural smartness. I have such a superior smartness that I have to act dumb in order to make people feel right at home with me. My brother says I'm from another planet, but that's not true ("Which way is Kripton, Superman?").
To be quite honest, I am like everone else. I bleed, I walk, I cry - but making people laugh is one of my favorite passions. That's why I act some of the ways I do. Other times it is because I am tired and if I don't act stupid I will lash out at someone. But one of my favorite things is to make people laugh.
My other favorite thing is music. There is nothing in the world that excites me more than music (beside my Heavenly Father). When I play a song I wrote, I want people to be able to hear my character. I want them to hear me, my voice, and my loves and hates. I want them to hear the way I feel and what makes me tick. And When I play songs for my God, I want it to be an offering to Him. There is nothing more pleasant than when God hears our offerings to Him - our giving ourselves to Him. I want my music to reflect my Creator. I want every note I hit to bring glory to Him.

PS. Thank you who commented about my hair. I apreciate it. I still haven't decided if I will cut it, but if I do, I'll let you know when. But don't be surprised to see it short.

Here we go again

I notice now that my titles don't make sense. Oh well.

So we are in the first week of EMT classes. I am now CPR certified (you can congratulate me) and I have to read four chapters before my next Sunday class. So far I have... *three, four, five...* ONE chapter done! It is a very interesting subject for me to take up, but the writers wrote at least the first chapter so boring. Maybe if they had like, I don't know, a sing-along tape for memorizing and all your other needs I might take more of an interest. But as of right now, I don't have one.

Mrs. V's float idea is really cool. I really want to do it, but I don't know if I can.

You know, I find it so hard some times to act like a christian where I work. I mean, everything that gets said could be taken the wrong way, and 9 times out of 10 it is. I just find it so hard to say " I ain't going to speak no language like that because it goes against what I believe." (Am I the only one, or and talking to the choir?) I don't want to be like that. So I am asking you guys when you see me to keep me in check about my speech. I can use all the help I can get.

I haven't even started my summer and school is already here! IT STINKS! But Geoff and I are eventually going to take a break from school to have a little time to ourselves. So I won't start next year's school until like the middle of September (or so it's been told to me). So I am looking forward to getting that break.

NEW POLL: should cut me hair shorter? comments are welcome. Weird thing to bring up, but my mom thinks I should get a haircut, and some people I know like my hair. So I can't decide if I should do it or not. I am not trying to please anyone, I just want opinions.

All,

Well, life just keeps trudging along. I start EMT classes tomorrow, something to which I am not looking forward. But, since mom and dad want me to do it, I'll do it. Geoff and I have to skip church on Sundays from now until December to go to the community college and take 7 hours out with this class. Oh, I'm not missing church completely. On Wednesdays I have church with my youth group and I may go to a church on Saturdays. But believe me, I cannot wait until this is over.

I cannot wait until the next drama practice. I guess I better be learning my lines before I do much of anything else, huh?

Ugly first blog

You think you know someone, then they just completely surprise you. People I have worked with have been saying things I'd never thought they'd say, not that it's bad stuff, but just very odd. It goes to show you that you can never find out everything about one person. That's where my brain fails...
